Acknowledge that you are a sinner

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God

Romans 3:23

Accept that Jesus, through His death and resurrection, paid the penalty for your sin

The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

Romans 6:23

Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin and make Him Lord of your life

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved

Romans 10:9

Indwelling of the Holy Spirit

All believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who, through the process of Sanctification, will help you in your walk with Christ to keep you on the right path and to live a life that is pleasing to Him

However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him
